CMM, providers of the leading medicines management platform (Pharmacy, EPMA and Chemotherapy) to the NHS, announced today a new partnership with Modeus (Australia). The new CMM CD Manager, powered by Modeus, will integrate with CMM’s medicines management platform and other third-party systems.
CD Manager is a comprehensive controlled drug management solution. It has been developed for use by pharmacists and clinical staff throughout all areas within hospitals where controlled drugs are stored, including pharmacy, wards and theatres. CD Manager specifically helps Controlled Drug Accountable Officers to monitor the Controlled Drug life cycle in an organisation and proactively respond to automated alerts on discrepancies or potential diversion via in-built reporting.
CD Manager features four important pillars of security:
Governance: improved visibility, alerting, monitoring and reporting, facilitating the reduction of controlled drug diversion and misappropriation.
